Intilaaqah Egypt programme sponsors and carries out an annual local competition for small projects including the following categories:
1- Best existing small project from Intilaaqah Graduates:
Conditions of enrollment:
- Age of participant should be between 18-32 years.
- The project life should not be less than 12 months.
- The project should be in any field; production, industrial, service, commercial.
- Participant should be able to:
· Present a brief summary of the project not exceeding two pages.
· Present a report showing the annual amount of sales and revenues.
· Discuss the personal skills and characteristics that contributed in making you an owner of a small project.
· Present a projected action plan and sales projections and also growth and development plans for the coming period.
· Present your position in the market and competition.
· Present an action plan/feasibility study for the coming period and which guarantees your success and stability in the market.
· Present a plan illustrating the market and competition status, showing mechanisms used for facing market changes.
· Present a plan illustrating the means of following up consumer’s needs and demands, showing the means of interacting with changes that might occur in order to satisfy the consumer.
· Present a model clarifying consumer’s opinion in the service or product you offer.
· Present a report showing rate of growth and development of your project during the past period.
· Present a plan showing means of decreasing cost while maintaining quality of product or service you offer.
· Present a plan showing new markets you need to open or new products you wish to manufacture or new ideas you want to apply.
· Attach the cash flow statement for the project for one year.
· Present a report clarifying the relationship between the success of your project and the role of Intilaaqah programme in contributing to the success of your project.
2- Best promising project:
Conditions of enrollment:
-Age of participant should be between 18-32 years.
- The life of the project should not be less than 6 months and does not exceed one year.
- The project could be in any field, productive, industrial or service.
- The competitor should be able to:
· Explain the project owner’s role in the success of the project.
· Present a projected action plan and sales projections and also growth and development plans for the coming period.
· Present a report showing the amount of annual sales and revenues.
· Present a model clarifying consumer’s opinion in the service or product you offer.
· Present a report showing rate of growth and development of your project during the past period.
· Present a report clarifying the relationship between the success of your project and the role of Intilaaqah programme in helping your project to succeed.
· Attaching a cash flow statement for the project for one year.
· Attaching feasibility study/action plan of the project.
3- Best project idea:
Enrollment conditions:
- Age of participant should be between 18-32 years.
- Project life should be between 3 to 18 months at the most.
- The project theme should be new and innovative and appropriate to market and consumer’s needs.
- The participant should present a significant product or a good marketing study or new technology helping in increasing sales and thus increasing production.
- The participant should explain his new idea and clarify its significance to the Egyptian market.
- Attach a cash flow statement for the project for one year.
- Attach a feasibility study/action plan for the project.
4- Best feasibility study:
Enrollment conditions:
- Age of participant should be between 18-32 years.
- The participant should present a feasibility study written in Arabic not exceeding 20 pages.
- The study should be for any project that can be executed whether productive, industrial, service or commercial.
- The study should comply and be appropriate to market and consumer needs.
- The study should include suggested methods and means of funding for the project.
- The study should contain a part on management of human resources.
- The study should clarify market mechanism for the product or service offered by the project.
- The study should include criteria of quality.
- The participant should use the elements studied during Intilaaqah programme.
5- Category of best successful small project Non-Intilaaqah graduate :
Conditions of enrollment:
- Age of participant should be between 18-32 years.
- The project life should not be less than 12 months.
- The project should be in any field, productive, industrial or service.
- The participant should be able to:
· Present a brief summary of the project in no more than 2 pages.
· Present a report showing annual sales and revenues.
· Discuss personal characteristics and skills contributing in making you an owner of a small project.
· Present an action plan and projected sales plan and also growth and development plan for the coming period.
· Present your status in the market and competition.
· Present a plan illustrating the market and competitors, clarifying mechanisms used to face market changes.
· Present a plan showing means of monitoring consumer’s needs and wishes, illustrating means of dealing with changes that might take place to satisfy the consumer.
· Present a model showing consumer’s opinion about the service or product you offer.
· Present a report illustrating rates of growth and development for your project for the coming period.
· Present a plan showing means of decreasing cost while maintaining quality of the product or service you offer.
· Present a plan showing new markets you need to open or new products you want to manufacture or new ideas you wish to apply.
