Earlier this year Intilaaqah Egypt held its second award ceremony in cooperation with the British Council to award 2007 graduates for their small enterprises & best plans executed during the year.

The Ceremony took place at Semiramis Intercontinental hotel and was attended by a number of VIPs, Businessmen, graduates and Media representatives who supported the initiative of Intilaaqah programme.  Judging committee selected 25 candidates to be awarded according to the set categories for winners i.e.

Best business
Best business idea
Best business plan
Best promising business
Best business from non-Intilaaqah graduates.

The award ceremony granted cash prizes to all winners.

Mr. Zainul Rahim Chairman of Shell Egypt stressed in his speech on the importance of setting small projects /enterprises as it is considered as one of the main factors which effects the international economical development – and a corner stone for the economy in many development countries.   He also added that Initlaaqah programme aimed to support the Government initiative in cooperation with development partners by supporting the youth in setting their small projects and provide them with the knowledge to support them to achieve their goals.
